About Us

Welcome to FontWerks - an example of how a small idea, a lot of hard work, dreams and God's grace culminate in a small company specializing in rubberstamps, scrapbooking papers and embellishments.

We are 3 years old this year - and still full of the love of scrapbooking and stamping that we started off with! With over 300 sku's and more to come, we are excited to be part of this industry and proud of our design efforts over the last few years. We have been featured in many magazines and won several "Best Of" shows, and are thankful for all our customers and fans for their loyalty and enthusiasm for our products!

FontWerks is a family business run by Kah-Mei Smith, who thanks God everyday that she is now working full time for FontWerks after spending nearly 2.5 hours working 2 jobs and sleeping 3 hours a night. She is married to Rob who runs the logistics and materials department and is mom to Emily (7 years) and Cameron (4 years), the joys of her life. Kah-Mei credits a passage in the Bible that acted as a catalyst to taking the plunge in starting Fontwerks. In Proverbs 31 a woman is described as industrious, involved in commerce, in tune with her environment and happy with her handiwork. Kah-Mei says, "although I cannot imagine being as perfect as she is, this woman has encouraged me to follow my heart, my dream, and work hard. A good idea is hard to find. I believe I have found one and I'm going with it!"
